Contractor Selection
River's Edge Project Management can locate, evaluate and suggest general contractors whose skills and experience fit the demands of your project. We'll also work with any contractors you have already selected or hired. We specialize in drafting project specific bidding documents that ensure all contractors are quoting the exact same scope of work and not “guessing” at parts. Many contractors will have questions about certain aspects of your build-out; let them bring them to us. We will explain and discuss the ins and outs of your project with each of the bidding parties as needed to aide in receiving timely proposals.
Once the bids arrive, REPM will perform a thorough and complete analysis of each one. We make sure that the contractors followed the scope they were presented and that they have included all of the requested information. After compiling the numbers and describing the differences, we will provide you with an easy to read comparison and as always will be available to discuss each bid with you in depth.
Upon selection of the winning bid, REPM will take care of the sometimes uncomfortable task of alerting the bidding parties of your decision. We will then work with the selected contractor to expedite their contract and make certain that it includes any addendums or changes to plans and that it follows the scope of your project entirely. After receiving the contract, REPM advises all of our clients to quickly have a legal professional look the document over for correctness.
